Welsh Government Grant

The Welsh Government’s Access Broadband Cymru (ABC) grant scheme helps homes and businesses in rural Wales access reliable broadband where superfast speeds (30 Mbps+) are not currently available.

With an annual fund of around £1 million, the scheme offers a voucher of up to £800 to cover equipment and installation—whether that’s via fixed wireless, satellite, 4G/5G mobile, or fibre.

It reopened quietly in May 2025 following a pause in 2024 to streamline the application process and reflect technological advances, now offering faster, more responsive support for underserved communities .
